Loved that they sent me a reminder in the mail. I have an older car that requires STAR and I was happy I didn't have to try and find one again. I used them last year. I make it a point to come here when my vehicles need to be smog checked. I appreciated the reminder I received via mail from them, too. The waiting room is cozy and really is more like waiting around in a living room rather than your typical autobody/dealership/automotive-related waiting room. A turntable spins records filling the space with music that’s so much better than what anyone has come to expect while they wait. First time through my vehicle didn’t pass and instead of shooting me out the door, the “receptionist” asked me a few questions to troubleshoot. (I took his suggestions to heart, acted on them, and our vehicle passed on the second go ‘round.) I also threw out to him a question, matter of opinion, regarding something on the exterior of my vehicle. He suggested that he go take a look at it before giving me his opinion. Got out from behind the desk, walked outside, saw what I was talking about, shared his opinion. Very personable, friendly personnel. Website is easy to access and navigate, so it’s easy to make an appointment. Their smog checks are reasonably priced as well. There definitely are smog check stations between my house and Just Smogs, but with a smile on my face, I’ll drive a few extra miles to have my vehicles checked by them!

This smog and repair shop went above and beyond to help me smog my car for me and get mine done for me and with the nice guys who work in it even. I'm. A nice area I wasn't afraid to leave my car parked at over night when I needed to be doing it and despite my vehicle was not in an enclosed or fenced in lot area:) nice guys in this smog and repair shop did not try to rip me off either:) I highly recommend this shop and the outstanding help I got given at this shop. It was nice and clean and had a nice an very clean restroom and even a nice waiting sitting area in it for its customers also in it.

That's what I charge for 45 minutes of work. They spent about 15 on it. I am also licensed, bonded, and insured. I also have thousands upon thousands invested in tools.

There's no way $34 of that went to rent.

Made a same day appointment, check in was quick and easy. Got there a little early and they were busy, but still got me in earlier than my appointment.
Office decor is unique and interesting; waiting area is comfortable and has a lot to look at. The team from check in to drive away was polite, friendly, and although I didn’t have an issue passing, did overhear a conversation with another customer that did not, and they had zero judgement and were happy to explain possible reasons and options for retest.
I generally only smog when required by registration, but I’ll come back here each year I need to.

Went to just smog on Veterans Day. Never been there before. I walked in the shop and talked to one of the technicians who greeted me and helped me find the front desk. Nice guy can’t remember his name, tall guy.

The office is cool with lots of old gas station signs, old sewing machines and photos. Even of the old Meadowlark airport.

The waiting room is comfortable and has phone chargers.

There was a steady line of customers which is a good sign.

We walked a couple block to beach to get coffee and by the time we got back the car was ready.

Gonna recommend this place.

I needed a smog certificate for my DMV renewal. I made an appointment online which was confirmed. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted right away and the emissions test was performed. The results were reported to the DMV electronically. I completed my registration the next day with no problems. Just Smogs has a very efficient, no hassle process and everyone was very friendly. I'll use them again in the future.

First time going the service was fast. Comfortable nice and cool waiting room right next door. They have charging cables in case you need to charge your phone. They have an area for kids to play while you wait. They’re very helpful first time I failed a portion of smog check so they helped me on how to fix that. They also mentioned that as long as I came back within the month I would only pay $10 for smog recheck. 😊🚙

Great service here and have been coming here for years but the tip option while paying on credit card machine lost them a star. Best experience ever!! Just Smogs is the place to go for excellent customer care and service. They have been in business for 23 years and I can see why. All the staff are so pleasant, and their waiting room has plenty of space for relaxing while you wait, both inside and outside sitting. I was in and out within an hour. They also have an auto mechanic. I plan on going back to get my annual checkup for oil change, fluid top off, etc. He is also very knowledgeable about catalytic theft protection which has been on my mind. I have used this location for several years. Each year it gets better. They are always professional and customer service is a priority. The great thing this year was the use of their appointment calendar. I made an appointment for 30 minutes from the time I found the calendar. They were ready when I got there. Nice people but not overly so, snacks and drinks if you want them, cool old metal gas signage, lps and even a turntable. My smog check was a couple of months ago. While speaking with the gentleman, I mentioned I also needed to get an oil change after my car was ready and he said they also did oil changes there. I told him let's do them both! I am a repeat smog check customer and will now be getting my regular oil changes there going forward. I called a week ago and asked if they change low beam light bulbs and I was happy to find they do that service as well. They even ordered the bulbs for me once I made my appointment. I was in and out in an hour. Their customer service is above and beyond. These gentleman are very friendly and helpful and I felt I needed to give them a 5 star rating!! I can't rave about them enough. So, if you need any of these services, make your appointment to get it done at Just Smogs in Huntington Beach. They are awesome!!!

Danny and his boys at Just Smogs in Huntington Beach, CA are great people. I called at 5:35 PM thinking they would be open until 6 PM in hopes of getting a smog check. Technician John answered the phone and told me they had closed 5 minutes prior to me calling. I conveyed to him that I had procrastinated on getting my inspection done and that my registration was due the following day. He told me to come by and that he would take care of my inspection ASAP. John didn't let me down.
My car passed and I was back on the road 15 minutes later. John is a super good guy and I truly appreciate his exceptional customer service.

I have been to this place three times and they have always offered great service. Making an appointment online is super easy. Since I had been there before, they already had my car and my information so all I had to do was sign and initial the paperwork then wait in the lobby. I picked a good time (2:00 p.m.) because there were no other customers waiting. Twenty minutes later they were done. I was able to get back to work from my lunch break with time to spare.

Danny has owned and operated a first class smog test and repair facility for many years. Recall when first came to CA had to take my Corvette to an approved shop that looked questionable to me. I was at my appointment at 3:35 PM and they took my car at 3:40 exactly and I was out right before 4!!! GREAT VALUE, GOOD QUALITY, PROFESSIONAL AND TIMELY!!!! Thank you Just Smog!!! This is by far the best smog testing facility to go to. Everyone there is courteous. It is very easy to schedule an appointment on their website and they were very quick in completing the smog check.

Best place around for smog certification. I’ve been using them for years for all my vehicles. I always make an appointment but walk- ins are welcomed. Comfortable waiting room. Good price. Highly recommended.

I’ve been coming here for years. These guys are always friendly and on time with their appointments which I really appreciate. Nice waiting area and a clean bathroom. Couldn’t ask for much more.

It was convenient to schedule my appointment online and I received a $5 coupon. They have very prompt and friendly service. And only took 20 minutes to smog my car. You can't beat the price!!
