Loved that they sent me a reminder in the mail. I have an older car that requires STAR and I was happy I didn't have to try and find one again. I used them last year. I was able to make an appointment online (convenient!) and the tech was there waiting. I was in and out in 18 minutes. Highly recommend!

A pleasant surprise
Excellent customer service and I was done with my Smog check in less than 15 min
Everyone was super nice
And their waiting area is a mini museum with antiques and a glimpse of entomology collection of varies species of spiders/ants) something to keep your curiosity alive while you are waiting for your car

I've been going to Just Smogs for years now. They have got smog checks down to a science. I've never had to wait very long but just in case you should make an appointment. They get you in and get you out very quickly. Just the way I like it. Reasonably price to boot. I will continue to bring my vehicles to them in the future. Why change a good thing.

I like that you can make appointments or just drop in. It was super easy to make an appointment online. I arrived early and they took my car right away. 25 minutes later, I'm driving out with my smog certificate. Nice lounge with coffee. The employees are very courteous. I'm a repeat customer and will continue to be.

This is my 2nd time coming here for smog check, and they do a great job! I made an appointment on Friday night to come in Saturday morning(and they still had plenty of appointments available). Once you use Just Smogs, you'll never go anywhere else. The guys are professional, efficient, friendly and reliable. The waiting area is comfortable, great music playing and decorated really cool. The service here is impeccable!! Very kind on the phone to answer my questions and had availability same day (newer vehicle). Their office is so cozy and retro. I scheduled online and had about a 20 minute total wait in a comfortable waiting area and then was on my way. This is the second time I've used Just Smogs and expect to return in 2 years unless we have to bring my wife's car in sooner. Just Smogs is incredibly quick and efficient.

I've been taking my cars here for years. The shop is very nice and comfortable to wait in. They say it takes 20 minutes for a smog, but they get you done faster than that, as it's efficient and very well done! And you get a discount, which is very cool! I highly recommend JUST SMOGS!

I make it a point to come here when my vehicles need to be smog checked. I appreciated the reminder I received via mail from them, too. The waiting room is cozy and really is more like waiting around in a living room rather than your typical autobody/dealership/automotive-related waiting room. A turntable spins records filling the space with music that’s so much better than what anyone has come to expect while they wait. First time through my vehicle didn’t pass and instead of shooting me out the door, the “receptionist” asked me a few questions to troubleshoot. (I took his suggestions to heart, acted on them, and our vehicle passed on the second go ‘round.) I also threw out to him a question, matter of opinion, regarding something on the exterior of my vehicle. He suggested that he go take a look at it before giving me his opinion. Got out from behind the desk, walked outside, saw what I was talking about, shared his opinion. Very personable, friendly personnel. Website is easy to access and navigate, so it’s easy to make an appointment. Their smog checks are reasonably priced as well. There definitely are smog check stations between my house and Just Smogs, but with a smile on my face, I’ll drive a few extra miles to have my vehicles checked by them!

This smog and repair shop went above and beyond to help me smog my car for me and get mine done for me and with the nice guys who work in it even. I'm. A nice area I wasn't afraid to leave my car parked at over night when I needed to be doing it and despite my vehicle was not in an enclosed or fenced in lot area:) nice guys in this smog and repair shop did not try to rip me off either:) I highly recommend this shop and the outstanding help I got given at this shop. It was nice and clean and had a nice an very clean restroom and even a nice waiting sitting area in it for its customers also in it.

3 stars is 5 stars for a smog check. Cost me $51 dollars with my $12 AAA discount.

That's what I charge for 45 minutes of work. They spent about 15 on it. I am also licensed, bonded, and insured. I also have thousands upon thousands invested in tools.

There's no way $34 of that went to rent.

Made a same day appointment, check in was quick and easy. Got there a little early and they were busy, but still got me in earlier than my appointment.
Office decor is unique and interesting; waiting area is comfortable and has a lot to look at. The team from check in to drive away was polite, friendly, and although I didn’t have an issue passing, did overhear a conversation with another customer that did not, and they had zero judgement and were happy to explain possible reasons and options for retest.
I generally only smog when required by registration, but I’ll come back here each year I need to.

Went to just smog on Veterans Day. Never been there before. I walked in the shop and talked to one of the technicians who greeted me and helped me find the front desk. Nice guy can’t remember his name, tall guy.

The office is cool with lots of old gas station signs, old sewing machines and photos. Even of the old Meadowlark airport.

The waiting room is comfortable and has phone chargers.

There was a steady line of customers which is a good sign.

We walked a couple block to beach to get coffee and by the time we got back the car was ready.

Gonna recommend this place.

I have been going here for years. The real measure of this business is the service provided when there is an issue with your smog test. These guy are not only professional and knowledgeable, they are genuinely helpful and accommodating. I won't go anywhere else.

I needed a smog certificate for my DMV renewal. I made an appointment online which was confirmed. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted right away and the emissions test was performed. The results were reported to the DMV electronically. I completed my registration the next day with no problems. Just Smogs has a very efficient, no hassle process and everyone was very friendly. I'll use them again in the future.

First time going the service was fast. Comfortable nice and cool waiting room right next door. They have charging cables in case you need to charge your phone. They have an area for kids to play while you wait. They’re very helpful first time I failed a portion of smog check so they helped me on how to fix that. They also mentioned that as long as I came back within the month I would only pay $10 for smog recheck. 😊🚙

Great service here and have been coming here for years but the tip option while paying on credit card machine lost them a star. I'm all about tipping good service but if all employers are trying to enhance employees wages at the consumers expense none of us will have the extra cash to tip our waiters and bartenders.

Found this place online after my neighborhood spot wasn't available to do any smogs for a week. It had good reviews and I was able to make an appt online within the next hour. I showed up and my car was finished within 20 min! Very friendly, fast, and easy. Also got $5 on labor for booking online. Would recommend and will return!

Best experience ever!! Just Smogs is the place to go for excellent customer care and service. They have been in business for 23 years and I can see why. All the staff are so pleasant, and their waiting room has plenty of space for relaxing while you wait, both inside and outside sitting. I was in and out within an hour. They also have an auto mechanic. I plan on going back to get my annual checkup for oil change, fluid top off, etc. He is also very knowledgeable about catalytic theft protection which has been on my mind. Fair prices and great service! Thank you, Just Smogs team, I look forward to my next auto service with you.

I have used this location for several years. Each year it gets better. They are always professional and customer service is a priority. The great thing this year was the use of their appointment calendar. I made an appointment for 30 minutes from the time I found the calendar. They were ready when I got there. A short wait in their customer waiting room and then I was on my way. No muss no fuss just great service.

Online scheduling/confirmations are well done. The service was done quickly. The vibe in there is great - I actually enjoy going in every year. Nice people but not overly so, snacks and drinks if you want them, cool old metal gas signage, lps and even a turntable. I'm sure if I'd have asked they'd have let me play a record - maybe next year.

My smog check was a couple of months ago. While speaking with the gentleman, I mentioned I also needed to get an oil change after my car was ready and he said they also did oil changes there. I told him let's do them both! I am a repeat smog check customer and will now be getting my regular oil changes there going forward. I called a week ago and asked if they change low beam light bulbs and I was happy to find they do that service as well. They even ordered the bulbs for me once I made my appointment. I was in and out in an hour. Their customer service is above and beyond. These gentleman are very friendly and helpful and I felt I needed to give them a 5 star rating!! I can't rave about them enough. So, if you need any of these services, make your appointment to get it done at Just Smogs in Huntington Beach. They are awesome!!!

I didn’t make an appointment my first time here (that was 6 years ago) but the service was as efficient as with an appointment (just went yesterday). I've been coming here for a couple of years now for several different vehicles. Quick in/Quick out. Fast and painless. The employees are always friendly and efficient. I wouldn't go anywhere else now for my smog certs. It's a good idea to make reservations on the weekends, because it can get busy.

Just Smogs is a professional and well-organized business. The shop and office are very clean. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment to get a smog check for my car. Check-in was quick and trouble free, and my car was taken back to the shop within minutes. About 20 minutes later my car was returned and the smog certificate was ready. When I couldn't find the location and called expecting a long ring time or voicemail, John answered and patiently guided me to the location amidst my frustrations, even walking out into the street to flag me down lol. Danny and his boys at Just Smogs in Huntington Beach, CA are great people. I called at 5:35 PM thinking they would be open until 6 PM in hopes of getting a smog check. Technician John answered the phone and told me they had closed 5 minutes prior to me calling. I conveyed to him that I had procrastinated on getting my inspection done and that my registration was due the following day. He told me to come by and that he would take care of my inspection ASAP. John didn't let me down.
My car passed and I was back on the road 15 minutes later. John is a super good guy and I truly appreciate his exceptional customer service.

I have been to this place three times and they have always offered great service. Making an appointment online is super easy. Since I had been there before, they already had my car and my information so all I had to do was sign and initial the paperwork then wait in the lobby. I picked a good time (2:00 p.m.) because there were no other customers waiting. Twenty minutes later they were done. I was able to get back to work from my lunch break with time to spare.

Danny has owned and operated a first class smog test and repair facility for many years. Recall when first came to CA had to take my Corvette to an approved shop that looked questionable to me. Since finding Just Smogs have not even considered going anywhere else for my our my wife’s car. Clean shop, lobby, waiting area and online reservations system that is top notch.

This is my second time using Just Smogs. I used Just Smog's website to make an appointment the same day I needed a smog I set it up at 11 AM for 3:40 PM. I was at my appointment at 3:35 PM and they took my car at 3:40 exactly and I was out right before 4!!! GREAT VALUE, GOOD QUALITY, PROFESSIONAL AND TIMELY!!!! Thank you Just Smog!!!
